passed away peacefully on 24th April 2025, aged 82 years. Loving wife of the late David, mother of Andrew Whiteman and Martin Whiteman, ‘Nanny’ to Dan, Grady, and Sam Whiteman.

Barbara was a well respected Councillor and former Chairman of Harborough District Council, and previously worked in the press office and Department of Italian at University of Leicester.

Funeral Service at Great Glen Crematorium on Friday 30th May at 10.30am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations, if desired, for LOROS which may be made online at Much Loved or sent to J. Stamp & Sons.
